Youth Empowered Speakers Program is accepting applications!
Hello,
Do you know a B.C. First Nations student age 18-30 who is interested in learning their language while working towards a rewarding career as a language immersion teacher or early childhood immersion educator?
If so, FPCC wants to support them!
Students can start their application today and submit by April 25, 2022. The YES program has funding of up to $29,550 to support post-secondary tuition, living expenses and language mentorship for students who are pursuing a Bachelor of Education degree or studying Early Childhood Education to become Language Immersion Teachers or Early Childhood Educators.

THERE IS A NEED FOR FIRST NATION INDIVIDUALS IN THE AREA OF GEOMATICS.
BCIT’s Geomatics Engineering Technology Program offers a two-year Diploma in Geomatics which will appeal to students looking to immediately begin a career in industry as a Geomatics technologist. Students can also opt for a further two years of study toward the Bachelor of Science Degree in Geomatics en route to becoming a Professional Land Surveyor
